Ski tour in the snow

We skinned up for a good hour before we headed back down to the hut for coffee and more panetone. Then it was a snowy drive back over the Bernina pass to join Malcolm at home.
Last night we were treated to a fantastic meal at the hut and at midnight everyone went outside for prosecco and panetone to see in the New Year. No fireworks, but an ice candle and a Christmas tree, for a very festive feel.
