Chips, anyone?

A short walk along the front at Sheringham.  This seagull didn’t have a fish, but he did have a chip. Being greedy, he’d picked one which was far too big for him, but he was determined to eat it, come what may.  We watched for quite a while as he tossed it around and finally, he managed to swallow it.  Or at least, partly.  It was clearly visible as a big lump in its throat, but he then flew off.  Maybe he was off for a drink of water to help it down?
