Sunshine on Hoy (Day 2050)

A late-ish start to the morning, and when my beautiful wife zoomed off to do hoss stuff, I got my stone organised for carving. By the time it was on the bench (carefully lifted with the engine hoist - lessons have been learned from too many injuries in the past) it was after 11am. I made a start on roughing out the lettering, and had it done by lunchtime.
After lunch, we took the woofers for a wander at Lyde, then headed for Stromness for a quick ride out. Today's blip was taken from horseback not long after leaving the yard. Too good a view to miss.
Home again and I spent another hour bashing lumps out of the stone. It is coming at now...
