Lone Fisherman
The bay was incredibly calm today when we took the dogs walking around the block. We could see a lone fisherman on the rocks by the sea. The visibility was incredible. We could see the lighthouse at Roches Douvres, which when we sailed, was always the halfway point for a trip to France. We passed the light to the east or west depending on the tides on the day as they run so fast in the bay of St Malo. The photo is in extras and you can just make out the lighthouse.
We crossed over the peninsula and from the top we could see the lighthouse off Alderney which is called Les Casquets. Alderney was also clearly visible and the Normandy coast of France behind. It is not often so clear.
We continued along the east coast path above the bay which was a little muddy. We wanted to try and get home without walking too far along the road as the dogs are not happy in the lanes when cars come past.
Thankfully we managed to get home with only one car coming along the lane.
