Not quite enough

It was very cold this morning and then we had a sudden and quite heavy snowfall . . . and it settled. There was not quite enough for sledging, but two kids arrived and tried their best. Then the sun came out, the snow began to melt . . . and they gave up. 

School chaos - again! What a way to treat children, teachers, parents. 48 hours before schools are due to open and there is still confusion. Our daughter has eventually been told their school is only open for the children of key workers and she is going to be in school delivering online. Perhaps as well as, although she is now fully recovered from Covid, she has been ill for most of the break. Problem is that her three girls are all to stay at home . . .
