The very last gleam.
Yesterday's sensible eating and wine free day resulted in sleeping so well I almost missed morning altogether. I was lighter too and did all my normal Saturday chores so a good start. Just made it to Strathmiglo to photograph the Town House steeple in the nick of time. It is dated 1734 and possibly built with stones from Strathmiglo castle, also known as Cairney Flappit. Called so by James V when he first saw it. He was not impressed, Maybe he would have liked the steeple better. It stood alone until the 1800's when the Town House was added at the back.
