A new beginning

A beautiful sunny day here to start the year.  A good omen I hope.  Nice to see an unfurling bud in the garden even if it is a little frosted.   I haven't made any resolutions so far but I've begun the year with some sensible eating  and no wine.  Hoping to have a wine free month and lose the weight I've put on over these last two weeks.
