New Year's Eve

We had the vaguest plan to meet with a friend for a walk –but that didn’t happen.  The weather wasn’t great.  I ventured out for some essentials, but left the boys in their pjs watching The Mandalorian.  It was snowing, but by the time I was walking home it had turned to sleet.
Some jigsaw was done – though I haven’t got overly involved in this one.  Eventually we decided to get out for some fresh air, even though it was raining, and had a walk round by the farm.  Some of the tracks were so icy – it took longer than it should have done.  Luckily the rain wasn’t too heavy, so we didn’t get too wet.
It was home to chill out, watch an old Cary Grant movie, cook tea, do the jigsaw and enjoy a wee drink.  Later there was another old movie, and the end of 2020.

The Shetland ponies are usually in a field on the hillside, but they have been moved closer to the track.  They were looking a wee bit drookit today.
