Surfer
Thank you all so much for the lovely comments, stars and hearts on my seven year blipversary yesterday – all hugely appreciated. It’s been a strange year and at times it has been challenging to get a blip – but the challenge continues to make sure that I get out of the house every day which has been so important to me throughout the nine months I have been working at home.
It was a glorious day and I really wanted to walk along a beach, so TT and I did that with a walk at John Muir Country Park and back along the beach at Belhaven Bay. The blue sky, sunshine and fresh air was just what was needed, and it was really clear with great views all around, including to the Isle of May(extra). It was very frosty with the sand frozen in places, but it was great to be outside. Our exit from the beach was blocked as the tide was coming in, so we couldn't get over the bridge, so we had to take a detour. We certainly worked up an appetite for lunch.
Later in the afternoon I planned out a few meals and walked down to the supermarket for what I needed. It was threatening to snow when I went, and was snowing when I was walking home. I almost came a cropper on the ice, but managed not to fall down. While I was out TT was stripping the wallpaper from our bathroom. The bare walls are a huge improvement! Later it snowed quite heavily and we watched a James Bond movie – TT’s choice.
There were a few surfers out today, but this was the only one that I saw doing any surfing.
