The pigeons just didn't understand...

... that their favourite sandwich / sausage roll shop, Greggs, was closed for New Year's Day. No matter how long they waited by the popular snacking bench, outside the shop, there were simply no crumbs being dropped for them.

With the majority of shops were closed today, which clearly had the desired effect that few people were mixing outdoors.

The bus station had no buses, and consequently no passengers, A rare opportunity to photograph the structure (see my extra).
