Splendid afternoon!

There was black ice this morning...it was impossible to walk without slipping over!

This afternoon, we walked for a couple of hours up The Hay ( Watch Hill ), Cockermouth.

The cloud inversion was fantastic and widespread in most directions!

It was so magical as we sat and drank our flask of tea looking over the winter wonderland!

We decided to hang around at the top and watch the sun set over Cockermouth...Well worth while!
