Winter wonderland!

Fabulous weather once again today!

This is the view of Skiddaw and Bassenthwaite Lake taken from Sale Fell at lunchtime today...

Cloud inversion towards Keswick, and reflections of Skiddaw too!

It was extremely frosty on all the paths...our micro spikes and walking poles meant that we were able to walk without fear of slipping...

We were thrilled to see a broken spectre ( mini circular rainbow ) in the cloud inversion as we climbed to the top of Sale Fell!
