Tidying Up
When I was folding the laundry, Chaiyya joined me. T-shirts are great cat caves, apparently.
It's snowing outside, all the gardens and roofs have turned white. But the pretty whiteness is turning into wet, grey slush already, at least here in the valley.
New Year's Eve or Silvester, as we call it in Germany, will be different this year. No parties, (hopefully) no or very little fireworks. Personally, I don't miss all that, but it still feels strange to live in this locked-down world.
We will open a bottle of bubbles tonight and toast to better times ahead.
I wish all of you a peaceful, happy New Year!
