Time to be a squirrel

As I was having breakfast this morning I saw this squirrel appear out of the roof of our gazebo.

I think it's quite apt.

We're going into an election period here in Kenya and we all have learnt to be squirrels. Hoarding food and water this coming week. Then on Election Day we'll go out to vote then rush home, bolt the hatches and keep any eye out for what happens next.

I just pray it remains peaceful.
