A frosty morning

We woke to a mild frost - I have been hoping for a good frost but this one had gone by the time breakfast was over. It was cold though - Xena wore her coat for her walk today, she shivers so much if she does not wear it when it is cold.

After our walk we went to get some groceries as the fridge was looking a little bare after the Christmas festivities. No queue at the supermarket but they were quite short of many items - no eggs at all so we went to another supermarket where we luckily did find some eggs.

Luke played golf with a friend today and said it was very cold on the course. It is so wet and waterlogged around here I am surprised the golf course was still open. 

Another day of nothing exciting happening...with worrying reports about how the hospitals in the south of England are under pressure, it's best to just stay put and do nothing.
