Brasenose Woods

The boys are back at their studies so I took Juno up to Brasenose Woods as the fields near our house are flooded. It was incredibly muddy. We met a Labrador pup already bigger than she is despite being 6 months younger. They played an energetic game of tag in the mud and puddles.

More delicious goose leftovers for lunch then a quiet afternoon reading. Juno was exhausted - she can manage walks of around an hour but then she’s wiped out for the rest of the day. I’m rather happy about that as friends with very energetic dogs seem to struggle to give them enough exercise.

We were all in need of a light supper after the overindulgence of Christmas. I made a large salad, although I’m finishing mine off with a large glass of Baileys and some Malteasers. Snow is forecast tomorrow morning - not convinced that will happen. We do have a dry week ahead though, so the flood waters should abate.
