Sweet

Sweet things about today:

Birdsong and sunshine.
SongCircle - especially when E requested a dog for the farm during Old MacDonald.
Scones and buttybye spotting at Bon P.
Surprise meeting with Holly, Henny and J in Dean Gardens - E shaking with excitement and chasing and calling for Henny, building up enough confidence to go on the big slide "gen" (again) and "gen" and playing with sand, on the table rather than in the sandpit of course and the mix of pleasure/horror of having sand on her hands.
The sugar rush of a Krispy Kreme doughnut fresh from the new drive thru.
The kitten and couple we met on Dean Park Mews.
An early night.


Not so sweet:
E's nappy changing tantrum which made us leave the cafe.
E refusing her nap and exhausting her Mummy with a two hour walk over cobbles and around the back streets.
