Whose Hat Is Whose?

It felt a bit odd not to have the whole family stay overnight and be here for the traditional Boxing Day breakfast of ham and eggs, although we still had it of course!

We met up with Kate & Sophie late morning at Burnham for a bracing stroll on the beach. Sophie wanted to try Chris's new and rather patriotic woolly hat my sister gave him for Christmas, so he gamely donned her unicorn one; he looks rather fetching, I reckon.

We've had an unusually quiet Boxing Day afternoon, sorting out our presents and watching a bit of footie on TV. At least Chris & I were spared the pain of watching Yeovil's 6 - 1 defeat away at league leaders Torquay!

Tess did manage a quick chat on the phone to her Aunt Dorothy to congratulate her on her 100th birthday today.
