Golden shoes

#3 daughter has always had an eye for glamourising footwear and this was what she chose for her Christmas lunch outfit. She quickly changed into more robust footwear for being in the garden with us.

Sorry this is from yesterday. It’s a wild blustery day here. My friend Chris-with-the-broken-leg won’t be pleased - She is now an incident number on the Mountain Rescue books as they had to help get her out of the field on Christmas Eve. At least she was merely referred to as a woman, not with the elderly adjective! We have this information as we donate to them and get all the blogs about incidents, sometimes involving people who have gone into the hills ill-prepared, but more often people like Chris who have had an unfortunate mishap. She is already very bored so I’ll go over to see her soon with my electric blanket so that I can chat from outside.

I read “Get The Door Frank” last night. Now am on “The Greengage Summer” by Rumer Godden, a gift from Linda.

That’s Scottish friends in lockdown again. Luckily we are still Tier 3.

It was fun to see how Blippers all over the world celebrated Christmas.
