Too many?

We’ve had a lovely Christmas Day, all things considered. Miss PHL had a reasonable night and was able to come downstairs for tea and toast before we opened our presents. Mr PHL and I treated ourselves to bacon and eggs.

We opted to follow the 4 present rule - something you want, something you need, something to wear and something to read. I love my new walking shoes and Mr PHL seemed pleased with his new fleece.

Phin had a good day until he found the tray of sausages and stuffing. Mr PHL turned his back for a minute and we were down 8 or 9 sausages. Google says that he might suffer some stomach issues but so far he seems ok.

We enjoyed our dinner around 7 and Miss PHL managed a small plateful. She’s still suffering from the side effects of the codeine and has resorted to the Laxio sachets she was given when she was discharged. Poor wee soul I may be heading to a supermarket with a pharmacy tomorrow to see what they can recommend.

Enjoyed some lovely cheese after dinner with some red wine. Going down nicely after the Prosecco I’ve dipped in during the day.
