Christmas Day

An early icy walk around Old Glossop. It was very bright sun for a short while.

There were birds everywhere searching for food. The Park was full of Blackbirds so hungry they didn't fly away when I walk up to a few steps away. Starlings were chattering on rooftops  (2 Extra photos)

Some Gravestones in that early light nearly got to be the main photo but were placed as an Extra photo.

The winner was the sparkling bare Poplar trees  with a blue background.

Christmas Day was quiet but phone calls fom relatives filled the afternoon.  

Talking Pictures TV  the only channel we watched for Alistair Sim in An Inspector Calls  and Scrooge.   To tired to watch in the evening so recording Without a Clue  ( Michael Caine as Sherlock Holmes and Ben Kingsley as Dr Watson )  - a Comedy which I have no memory of, let's hope it's fun.
