What A Difference

........ in the weather ....... Tufty was catching some rays to try to warm up a bit ;-)

The village was flooded in several areas but fortunately missed us ( although not by much ) and amazingly it had nearly all drained away by the morning .......... I have added some extras - first two are the very soggy and muddy fields I walked along to take prezzies and goodies to my son, daughter in law and grandchildren, and the third wasn’t taken by me, it was on the village Facebook page it’s of the high street last night, (that fence is waist height ) ..... the last extra is one I took of the high street about three years ago, from roughly the same position, just looking a little further along, so that you can see just how much water there was. Sadly some people had their homes flooded...... what a dreadful start to Christmas it was for them, fortunately the damage wasn’t too extensive so at least they are able to stay in their homes :-)
