Hard mud

It was P.O.Ets’ day at work (as it always is on 24th Dec) so I took advantage of the fine weather. After closing the laptop lid, I headed up to the Pentlands and had a good run round the Kips. All the mud of recent weeks was frozen solid and any water courses frozen. Glad to get home with dry feet for once.
