Christmas Eve

A cold and showery day.  We’d intended to go out for a walk but there didn’t seem to be a long enough break between the rain and hail showers.  In the end we had a wander down to the other end of the village to check W’s car was OK (there’s no room to park it at the barn) and got caught in a hail shower while we were out.  I just had time to take this shot of the village church before we headed back.

We traditionally have a buffet meal on Christmas Eve and although W’s sister won’t be with us this year we are still doing the buffet, albeit with far more food than we need!  It’s not easy to make or buy small quantities at this time of year but none of it will be wasted.  Whatever you are doing this Christmas Eve, I hope you enjoy it and stay safe.
