Catching the Early Morning Sunshine

I hear the greenfinches, but I rarely see one. In shadow I can’t tell them from the sparrows. I was therefore happy to see this one high in a fir tree in the few minutes of sunshine we had today. Don’t be impressed by the blue sky. There was only a patch of it and it lasted for about 10 minutes.
