This morning I met one of my yoga teacher friends Alyson for a walk. We walked from her house on cycle paths to Lincluden Abbey. I did not want to risk walking by the river as the ground is saturated the leaves and mud make a treacherous combination underfoot.
Cassie was given a few cat nip toys as a present and she loves them .
The photo is taken from the cycle bridge over the river Nith looking back towards Alyson’s road.
Later I went to deliver Christmas cards and enjoyed chatting to friends on their doorstep . I also picked up a laptop from a lovely friend Morven who is lending me it until I get my one fixed or I get a second hand one from my son .
I’ve avoided the shops , but need to get a few fresh groceries before Christmas. Busy shops make me anxious .
I’m going for a swim this evening. Probably the last one for quite a while , as we go into lockdown on Boxing Day. Swimming has been really helping my back so I’m going to miss it .
The yoga fundraiser class for Social Bite has raised over £400 now . Such kind generous folk out there.
