A Rose by Any Other Name

It rained today, it rained all day.  It was also dark, mid-morning and it felt like the middle of the night!  This morning  I made a chestnut and mushroom bake, we had it for tea.  There was a little lull in the rain this afternoon when I managed to get out for a short walk to Shottery and back.  This is a damp looking rose I spotted along the way.

We half expected a hoist into Tier 4 today, luckily we stayed in Tier 3, though if this new variant virus continues to spread the whole country will be locked down again.
