Preparation

Emma came for a Christmas visit today.  Andy and Luna are following tomorrow.

I spent the morning preparing the main course for our Christmas Day lunch.  A butternut squash and chickpea roast.  I was going to do a Sprout Curry as well to go with it but we decided to leave that until later in the week.  The theme for today's Mono Monday hosted by Carolina is Preparation / Family.  This is one corner of the worktop this morning, I like to spread out whilst I'm cooking!

This afternoon we went with Emma to The Farm for a coffee.  It was very busy and the farm shop was do a brisk trade.  Outside they were selling off the last of the trees at a discount price (see extra).

This evening we went to Jo and James' house for a pre-Christmas meal and get-together.  Very nice!
