Under the clouds

The mist and cloud has hung around all day.  I did get out of it briefly on my walk up to the belvedere but then it closed in again. I took the opportunity to get on with some Christmas preparations making some soup for our Christmas meal starter. We have three friends coming round which is permitted here. I also made two loaves of bread which are now proving slowly in the fridge ready to be baked tomorrow. A very slow rise does seem to increase the sourdough flavour.  Thanks Veronica.
