Tidying up .....

...... time!
For 28 years my daughter K ( when in Croydon daughter C too ) have had a 4 times a year ritual , where we went to tidy up around the stone in memorial of my husband ( daddy)
1) Feb 14th memory of the day Roy died
2) March/April Easter
3) September 14th memory of Roy's birthday
4) December 23/24th Christmas
Then we have gone to a little French restaurant in Crystal Palace for coffee and may be lunch ( this was a favourite of my husbands and in walking distance of where we lived.
This year (29th) we have only managed 2 visits , first in February and second today . ( something got in the way of the 2 middle visits ???) Also coffee at the restaurant was OUT. Not to be deterred my daughter had bought coffee with her, we went up to the church yard in 2 cars , suitably distanced and in the open air we enjoyed coffee and a few minutes chat and both departed .
As she is my bubble , with great care I will have lunch with them on Christmas Day and then come home. I will see them at midnight mass as my Son in Law is taking the service .
