Arty artefacts 2

K and I were invited for coffee at our friends', Anne and Drummond, this morning. There were empire biscuits too, as usual. There were also several games of pool: the Eldest and the Youngest versus the Mature Ladies. I don't like to gloat, but Anne and I - ahem - did rather well...

On the way home I dropped K off at Finnich Toll so that she could have a run. She is training for her first marathon - the Berlin one, in September - and reckons she covered about 12 miles today. She arrived back quite disappointed at how tired she had got, but she has plenty time to build up her stamina.

There have been rugby matches to watch this afternoon, but the one I'm really waiting for is the Scotland v Ireland one tomorrow.
