Riverford Road Heron

I hadn’t expected to see the heron in this spot a few metres from the supermarket. I saw him again on the way back in his usual spot beside the weir.
The day seemed darker and shorter than yesterday. I should probably avoid the news bulletins, they are compelling in all their horror. Tomorrow the weather looks quite promising, cold and sunny, perhaps a good day to visit Balgray Reservoir which is within the 5 mile limit and has good blipping opportunities.
