Darkness Descending

It was never really light today. It rained constantly.

But it was Click and Collect day, so we drove over to Hawick to pick up the shopping, and even did a quick sweep inside for a few extra treats - well a bottle of whisky. I've taken to drinking a toddy every evening, it does seem to help me sleep. But I'm not allowed to use any of TM's precious malts .... he flinched when I suggested we should take this opportunity to tidy up some of them ... so I got a bottle of Sainsbury's finest cheapest, which will do the job perfectly well.

The chosen road home took us round the back of Ruberslaw, as the mist was descending. Not a soul about, or another car, just some very miserable looking sheep.
