A nice drive down to visit my work colleague and her young baby this morning just north of Berwick Upon Tweed so nearly in Englandshire. The road was lovely and quiet, it was sunny but with a sprinking of snow all the way and so it was almost a pleasure of a journey (almost)!
We chatted about old times, new times and work etc, baby Emily was wonderfully behaved and I got a load of cuddles and then got to hand her back and leave when she started to get tired and gurney (the best thing about other people's babies!)

On the way back I turned off the A1 at a wee place called Cove so I could take some pics and hopefully get a nice blip.
Decided to use one of the b&w ones as I feel it's a bit more atmospheric.

Quiet afternoon to come with just me and Bailey as OH is working all day so I think i'll watch some rugby, have a nice dog walk later on and just chill.
The weekend housework can wait until tomorrow!
