Another majorly busy day at work today.

Finished the monthly payroll.................eventually........... what an ordeal that was.
It's at times like this when someone that usually does a job is off suddenly and someone else has to do it that you realise that there aren't enough notes in the world and lots of precedures/methods are in peoples heads...............not good!

Lunchtime was taken up driving to and from an extremely busy Mothercare at the Fort to buy a gift card for a colleague who had a baby a few months ago and whom I am going to see tomorrow morning.
It was money that was collected at work and I should have organised buying a gift and sending it to her at the time I but never got round to it so it had to be done today.
Its a hour and a half drive each way down to the Borders in the morning so hopefully me and the car will make it as it's playing funny beggers again and stalling every time I stop or change gear until the engine heats up.

I'd better get some baby cuddles whilst i'm there.

This blip is of the living flame gas fire at my old flat which has been on the market since October and for which I had a viewing today.
The chap seemed quite keen but it was the first flat he has seen so i'm not holding out much hope. You never know mind you, it only takes one person to want to buy it!
