On our Christmas tree

I've done a true mono in red - where a regular mono is black and white and a range of grays, this one is red and white and a range of pinks.

My extras are: a different interpretation - a black and white mono with all the original reds restored; and the original colour photo.

These decorations are Christmas gifts from a friend. She does this most years and they are superb. The collection includes a Georg Jensen silver angel, a porcelain star, a Royal Dalton crystal and the red glass heart and string of three stars in the photo.

The tree is a jade tree in a pot. Each year we bring something in from the garden and hang the decos from it. This year we learned that the jade tree doesn't like being inside - we know because it is dropping many leaves. I hope we can get it back out soon enough to save its life.
