Stitched fort

This morning Mr Carpenter the carpenter (yes he really has the name of his profession - though it's in French) arrived to knock a whole in the wall to see where and how he is going to restore our front door that was bricked up when the last extension was done on the house in the 90s. After that we cycled to get another 30 kg of wood pellets from a shop on the other side of the town.

After lunch we walked down to Intra-Muros and then along the beach, before returning to home for dinner. It was a lot busier than last weekend in town. Most people were wearing masks and keeping their distance, but there were a lot more people eating and smoking, and with the Parisians turning up, it was a more stressful. At least the beach was mostly empty which was nice to stroll along.

As we came out the walls and down to the beach the light was shifting and I took a few pictures of Le Fort National which I've photographed many times in the past, without thinking really. I had a go at stitching them and to my amazement it's come out quite good really - it's three images with about 50% overlap each, which has produced an acceptable panorama.
