Alyth skyline

For our Saturday outing we walked on Hill of Alyth. Some nice sunshine at the start, although it got darker with a shower in the afternoon. Somehow we managed to lose the Cateran Trail not once but twice; there are just too many other paths.

My extra shows the Christmas decorations along Alyth Burn. They must look good when lit up.

Updated with worrying news that a more infectious strain of COVID-19 has triggered a new lockdown in Scotland and parts of England. Let’s hope the action will be sufficient; I fear it might not be.
