Homeward Bound

All good things come to an end. 

I had my final run along the shores of Derwent Water (well at least until next time). The weather was grey and dismal as we took Jet for a wander and I managed this photo. The waves give an indication of the blustery conditions even the swans and geese had headed into an inlet for shelter.

We managed to pack the car in between heavy showers and set sail for home. Back by tea time, fire lit, heating on and the first cycle of washing underway. 

Really enjoyed our break. Thank you for all the wonderful comments. Will try to catch up with you in the near future.
