Letter to Grandad

When hub wasnt feeling poorly, before his diagnosis, we were missng seeing the grandchildren, so he decided to write a letter to the two little ones. They were excited to receive it, having never had a letter through the post. Grandad asked them to write back to him.....this arrived today, courtesy of their mummy & daddy :-) who made a flying visit to do the xmas present exchange.

Olivia is 7 and has very neat handwriting dont you think :-))I facetimed hub earlier to show him his letter... he was very impressed ;-).

I am blipping earlier than usual to take my mind of things, as I am sat here waiting for news that hub is back on the Ward, following his procedure....He was getting more anxious as the day has gone on, with all the waiting around, typically he was late in the day :-/

His consultant rang me this morning, to update me, she said if all goes well, they will xray on Monday, the aim being to get him home 23/24th which will be just great!

Its been a strange day today, very dark and wet, other than the brief visit from midle son & DiL, there has been a couple of face time sessions, an hours chat with daughter and that is it, I havent been anywhere or done anything today. Will get my mojo back once I know hubs OK.

Im not someone who eats sweets, but I ve sat here this afternoon and quietly munched my way through half a bag of fruit liquorice gums.....they are really nice, but its probably ruined my appetite for dinner later.....think,its called comfort eating :-/

Will be so glad when today is over
