Digging ourselves out.

I have never known so much snow here in my 20+ years of living here in the Hudson valley. We managed to dig ourselves out down to where the drive had been snow ploughed and then had to dig the car out before it really froze in. Beautiful soft snow. Probably about 2 feet plus.
Managed to make 2 more Guinness cakes for us. Have given all the others away as presents.
Obviously going to be a white Christmas.
