I don't mind if I do

I always knew today was going to be cold so I'd planned an indoor(ish) trip out for today.

The best of many worlds - educational, fun, not too much outdoors and beer (oh and beer horses)

A trip to National Brewery Centre had all these things - and chocolate in the shape of beer, a huge (took 6 years to build) train set, dressing up clothes, an un-put back together-able clay pot, bar games, ....

oh and did I mention beer :-) the kids get a soft drink as part of the entrance fee and adults get 4 little beer taster glasses - everyone's happy (especially mummy)

Although when we were sat drinking our freebies and eating a fine (cooked in goose dripping) chip butty talking about what we'd learnt eldest's first thought was that drinking a glass of lemonade very quickly makes "your tummy funny" and "makes you burp"
