Pond-ering.....

Edinburgh's Botanic Gardens have put on a wonderful Christmas show to cheer up the long days of December......

The lights were magnificent, the music was incredible, and the staff do a great job of gently reminding people to stay distant from each other.

Santa Claus was in residence. As my friend Carla (just turned 6) informed me, he's the REAL Santa. The ones who turn up at schools and garden centres are (and I quote) 'stand-ins, because the real Santa is overworked in December and needs a bit of help'.

So there you are. Magical lights, emotional music and the real Santa. What more could you ask for?
