Toiling

I had a day of TOIL to take today. What a treat. A long dozing lie-in and then on my bike with jelly babies and a snickers out to Gladhouse reservoir. I didn't get as far as i had planned- turned homeward under a skifter of snow- but it was the right call to cut back when i did as frostbite was setting in by the time i got back to civilisation.
After defrosting headed to the arts complex down the road for a wee student opening. Oh youth! I particularly enjoyed the awkward, bemused but supportive and proud parents and grandparents hovering around the edges.

And two more days off.
I'm all for the 4day week I think.
