Christmas lights

It has poured down for most of the day, and I was stuck inside waiting for a delivery, so when the rain eased off late afternoon I decided to get some fresh air. Heard that Santa was travelling round local villages, so I walked down to the bridge to have a look.  Not good shots as I was too busy talking to people I knew at the side of the road!  The other lights are on nearby houses, and the baubles at the Congregational chapel are encouraging villagers to put Christmas decorations up on the railings.  There is Carol singing around the village tonight - will see if the rain holds off before deciding whether to go!
