Festive walk

The Bus Pass Walkers, many with festive head gear, met up in St Ives Estate today to have a busless walk. Image of some of hundreds of fungi spotted on a large tree trunk.  Extra of some of the group, and golfers enjoying the lovely sunshine.  After the walk we went to the picnic area for refreshments - sandwiches, mince pies, mulled wine and Sherry - and our usual coffees from the Ivy Kitchen.  Lovely time, and much banter as usual.  Some of us may walk next week, but for those who can’t join us look forward to seeing you in the new year!  Home via the village - 2 tongues bought - massive, and weighed a ton!  They will be cooked and pressed tomorrow?  Pre-warning - they might end up as my blip before they go into the pot!
