Hoppers in the Flour Mill

This is an old flour mill next to the Bridgewater Canal in Manchester.

It has been converted into modern flats and you walk past these hoppers on the ground floor. Loading/unloading facilities for canal boats are still intact. I believe the hoppers are directly above the canal to facilitate loading, but I am not sure.
