Whatever modest talents I possess nobody would claim that cookery was one of them.          I could just about cope with cooking a meal if I had to and indeed many years ago when Mrs. K. went on a teaching assignment to Hong Kong I was able to prove that. But even then I seem to recall that M & S microwave shepherd’s pie was pretty good.

But I do have a speciality. That is Traybakes. This Oat and Raisin variety is one of the best and is well known to many village friends who used to visit before the virus. There is also a chocolate chip variety which Mrs. K. enjoys
