I've probably said this before but part of the reason for working in this garden is the location and this morning, between showers, the low sun lit the hills beautifully.

The bees that live over the 'front' door were not active when I got there so I finally managed to finish pruning the wisteria which grows there, it's looking good.

After that I started removing ivy which is completely swamping an Ash tree in the main lawn, it's obviously been allowed to grow for many, many years and I don't want the weight of it to overwhelm the tree.
