Monday: Deli Surprise

Imagine our surprise when the doorbell rang and outside was a very large box.  And our surprise increased as we unpacked a load of deli items - an early Christmas gift from P&J.  We’re all a bit miserable at missing out on seeing friends over the holidays but it has to be done.

Today was a pretty good day.  I had originally booked it as leave but cancelled it at short notice as we thought stuff was going to happen on Brexit.  Nothing happened on that, as you know, but it did leave me with a day free of meetings.  I spent longer than I would have liked trying to rebook some flights this morning but, that aside, it was a pretty productive day.
